How we can help

We always advise that if you have a health concern that you discuss it with your GP wherever possible. They are best placed to know your medical history and give you advice on the best course of action for you.

Consultations with and treatments carried out by a private GP aren’t covered under your Cigna plan.

We understand you may not feel you need to see a GP and are just looking for some general advice and support.  Your Cigna nurse helpline is available Monday to Friday, 8am – 8pm, Saturday 9am to 12pm. You don't need to be ill or making a claim to call our helpline. Our Nurses are here for you when you're well, or if you’re worried about your health.  If you would like some advice or help with general health issues our Nurses are happy to talk to you and provide you with any guidance and support you may need.

Call your helpline and ask to speak to one of our nurses during our normal operating hours.

Options to refer yourself for treatment

If you think you need treatment for your muscles, joints or bones, remember you can refer yourself for physiotherapy,
osteopathy and chiropractic treatment.
