CIGNA launches SmarterHealth, a new mid corporate PMI product - April 2010

CIGNA HealthCare has today launched SmarterHealth, a new experience rated medical plan designed for employers with 150 to 400 employees. By integrating their unique managed care approach into this product, CIGNA can actively control healthcare scheme costs for the employer while providing a highly valuable benefit to employees.

CIGNA's flexible and comprehensive healthcare plan offers the ability to flex cover up by adding full dental and travel cover at a discount or flex cover down by removing some benefits to help reduce costs.

CIGNA's head of product management, Kirsty Jagielko says:
