Your GP can refer you for the following private diagnostics:
- 24 hr ECG Holter Monitoring
- Air Conduction Audiogram
- Audiogram with Other Cochlear Test
- ECG
- Exercise ECG
- Exercise Stress Echocardiography
- Independence Audiogram
- Independence Audiogram as part of other procedure
- Long Term Ambulatory ECG Monitoring
- Patch Testing
- Pathology
- X-ray
- Echocardiogram
- Mammography
- Ultrasound
- Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology
- CT Scan
For any other type of diagnostics a referral from a specialist will be required.
If your GP has referred you to private diagnostic tests, you need to contact us for authorisation before going ahead. If you have already received the diagnostic tests they may not be covered by your plan.
Please remember to check your plan details to make sure you are eligible for this cover and to see if any limits apply. Remember to always contact us before having any diagnostic tests or treatment to ensure that you’ll be covered.
Consultations with and treatments carried out by a private GP aren’t covered under your Cigna plan.
