Cigna HealthCare is one of the UK's leading providers of managed employee healthcare benefits and services including: medical insurance, cover for expatriates, dental plans, cash plans and health management programmes.

Medical

Cigna has a unique approach to delivering employee healthcare for large organisations, where nurses work closely with employees and healthcare providers to ensure the appropriate care is delivered in the right setting. This managed care approach, which was pioneered in the UK by Cigna, works to manage costs for the employer whilst delivering the best outcome for the employee. It also provides in depth insights into the utilisation of the healthcare plan and the health issues facing the employer.

For employers with 150-400 employees, Cigna provides SmarterHealth. This flexible and comprehensive healthcare plan offers employers the ability to flex cover up to access premium dental and travel cover at discounted rates or flex cover down by removing some benefits to help reduce costs.

Cigna also offers PMI solutions to small corporate clients. SmartHealth is a flexible PMI plan which provides small corporate clients with the capability to flex cover up or down to suit their requirements. Out-patient, psychiatric and health management benefits can be flexed down and full dental cover can be added to provide cover for routine dental care.

Whilst specialising in corporate PMI, Cigna also offers a range of plans to the individual market. Cigna's Premier, Parent and Child plans provide a choice of comprehensive cover to individuals and their families, building on our managed care capabilities.
